NICTD West Lake Corridor, Northwest IN

Design

Electrical Engineering Services for the NICTD West Lake Corridor Preliminary Package – The West Lake Corridor Project would be an approximate 8 mile southern extension of existing South Shore Line (SSL) between Dyer and Hammond, Indiana.

Trains on the new branch line would connect with the existing SSL and ultimately Metra Electric District’s  (MED) line to the north. Responsibilities included electrical and lighting design for the four stations, parking lots, maintenance facility and yard, as well as electrical service coordination.
